MACHINIST- MANUAL (MASTERS LEVEL) JOB DESCRIPTION US HYDRAULICS INC., located in Manchester, NH has an immediate opening for an experienced Machinist. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience- INTERNAL / EXTERNAL GROOVING AND SINGLE POINT THREADING A MUST! . Candidate must work with internal and external grooving, single point threading and freely fabricate from material examples, blueprints, sketches or by any other means of design. Must be able to set up, operate, maintain and improve upon various machines, for example: Manual Bridgeport Lathes, Manual LeBlond Lathe 60, Manual Clausing Drill Press, Manual Horizontal Mills, Bench Grinders, Planers, Dry Blasting Machines as well as knowledge of Fadal CNC G-Code operations. Must be able to fabricate, design, create, refurbish, repair or develop any and all types of pieces, parts, tools, components or equipment within close tolerance specifications as requested. Various types of machining work will relate to all Industries, companies, developments and designs both in the State, Local, Government and personal sectors utilizing a broad range of materials on any and all machining work requested by US Hydraulics Inc.. Must be able to multi-task jobs with ease and comfort, a positive attitude is a must. QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to : Produce a complexity of machine parts and components conforming to mechanical drawings, blueprints, and/or customer samples and sketches while utilizing tight tolerances and high specifications utilizing precision measuring instruments. Must understand the functionality and purpose of various electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Experience with prototype/custom parts a plus. . Set up and operate precision machine tooling to make original parts, tools, mechanisms and devices for concept prototypes. Solves problems relative to unusual materials, machine settings, tools, product specifications and fabrication methods for production process . Performs precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions Must have the ability to read complex blueprints in order to determine the best method for manufacturing various components . Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with associates at all levels of the organization, vendors and parent companies. Must have: Reliable transportation. A reliable self-starter who can work with minimal supervision with the ability to do their own set up and quality control monitoring. Must be able to work well with others is a must. Must have: Own Tools. Welding experience would be a plus but is not necessary. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Plans and lays out assigned work applying shop trade knowledge. -Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment. -On new equipment manufactured in house, may perform assembly and other operations necessary to render the new equipment operationally functional. -Performs clean up. -Performs preventative maintenance on existing equipment, as required -Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
